Inviting Egypt to Participate In the 27th International Energy Charter Conference

Eng. Tarek El Molla , Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources , discussed with the Japanese Ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Takehiro Kagawa, the joint cooperation horizons between the two countries and the available investment opportunities in the various petroleum activities particularly as the Petroleum Sector is implementing an ambitious work program establishing a number of petroleum projects especially in the field of refining and petrochemicals, there is a number of fields for the Japanese companies which possess a long experience in such projects along with the advanced technology they enjoy .

During the meeting, the Japanese Ambassador invited Eng. Tarek El Molla, to represent Egypt in the 27th International Energy Charter Conference. The invitation was sent by the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Chairman of the International Energy Charter Conference and the Energy Charter’s secretariat, to be held in the Japanese capital Tokyo, on the 25th and 26th of November 2016 .

The conference will include a meeting of the petroleum and energy ministers from all around the world, under the slogan of “ The Relation between International Energy Charter and Global Challenges , It’s Contribution in achieving Sustainable Development, the Efforts of Confronting Climate Changes Phenomenon and the Challenges that Face Investments in the Field of Energy “.
