 Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources held a meeting with Mr. Stanislas Mittelman Vice President of French Total company for Africa and the accompanied delegation, including Mr. Jerome Dechamps, Executive Vice President for the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean, and Mr. Ian Lepetiet , Total's Managing Director in Egypt, to overview the company’s projects and plans to increase its investments during the coming phase.
During the meeting, Eng. Tarek El Molla pointed out that the French Co., Total is one of the mega companies that expanded its operations in Egypt, especially in petroleum products marketing, vehicles' oils manufacturing, car services stations, in addition to increasing its activities in natural gas exploration after signing an agreement with the company, last year, in a bid – round for EGAS, to operate in a new concession area, offshore the Nile Delta, for natural gas exploration.
For his part, the Vice-President of Total confirmed the company’s desire to pump more investments in the Egyptian Petroleum Sector, where Egypt is one of the most significant foreign markets.
