Dr. Fuad Masum , the Iraqi President received Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and the accompanying delegation with the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Ahmed Hassan Darwish, where the Iraqi President praised the distinctive historical relations between both countries.
Moreover, Eng. El Molla met Dr. Haider Al Abadi, Iraqi Prime Minister where they discussed cooperation prospects in oil domain between the two countries and the development of time-bound programs, to activate the strategic cooperation, which aims to establish a framework for the basis of mutual cooperation and exchange experiences in the entire industry value chain, along with, implementing petroleum projects. In addition, they reviewed training and human resources qualification in the petroleum industry in addition to the establishment of joint ventures between Egypt and Iraq in drilling activities. Also, they discussed promotion of joint cooperation between Egypt, Iraq and Jordan in all the petroleum activities.
