 Fifty-three ships transited the Suez Canal, with a total cargo of 2.100 million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 29 vessels carrying 1.8 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 24 ships carrying 1.3 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority (SCA).
