Petroleum Minister Inspects Final Stages of Ethydco Complex

Petroleum Minister Tareq al-Mulla asserted that the petroleum sector is forging ahead with implementing an ambitious program for achieving a comprehensive progress in the petrochemicals industry.

The remark was made during his visit to Ethydco complex. He also went on an inspection tour of several projects carried out at the Egyptian Petrochemicals Company in Alexandria.

The minister was briefed that $1.9 billion investments were pumped for producing 460,000 tons of Ethylene and 400,000 tons of Polyethylene.
