Sisi Signs Law Amending Oil Exploration Agreement in Western Desert

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has signed law no. 155 of 2018 licensing the minister of petroleum and mineral wealth to sign an agreement with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation and Apache East Bahariya Corporation LDC to amend the oil exploration and consumption commission agreement, issued upon law no. 9 of 1996.

The agreement law was amended by no. 155 of 2009 in East Bahariya in the Western Desert.
