Egypt, Ghana Discuss Cooperation in Natural Gas Field

A delegation from the Egypt Gas Company under Chairman Mohamed Ibrahim has concluded a visit to Ghana.

During the four-day visit, the delegation paid field visits to Ghanaian natural gas fields and pumping stations to view the infrastructure of Ghana’s gas sector.

The delegation held intensive meetings with the chairman and officials of Ghana Gas Company and the country’s National Petroleum Authority to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides agreed to exchange visits and to continue talks during the coming period to reach an integrated view of the nature and fields of cooperation.

The Ghanaian officials said they were looking forward to cooperating with Egypt Gas Company and making use of the Egyptian expertise in the development of Ghana Gas Company.
