President El-Sisi Meets Petroleum Minister

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a meeting with Petroleum Minister Tareq Mulla.

According to Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef, the meeting probed the Petroleum Ministry's plan to develop the oil sector in Egypt.

Mulla said his ministry signed several agreements with intentional companies in the past few months to develop oil and gas fields.

The minister briefed the President on the work progress in the Zohr gas field in the Mediterranean.

Sisi ordered developing the oil sector in Egypt to support the Egyptian economy and attract foreign investments into the country.
