The plant uses the R.O system for sea water desalination. The sea water is fed to the station by a pump from the well, then a chemical is to be added to the water and after that the water passes through a sand filter to remove the suspended solids, then the water is pumped to the membrane by high pressure pump to separate the salts from the sea water producing a suitable drinking water according to the international regulations.
