Thompson Kelly & Lewis vertical mixed flow turbine multi stage lineshaft pump, 1480 rpm
The pump shall be built to include the following standard design features:
- Sealing: Stuffing box fitted with packed gland arrangement
- Discharge column: To be built in standard length, with flange joints in accordance with Australian Standards Table "E" or equal
- Discharge bend: Pump discharge head assembly incorporating 90 deg. discharge bend with flange connections to A.S. Tables "E" or equal
- Mounting plate: Built integral with discharge head assembly
- Motor stool: Integral with pump discharge head to suit direct overhead mounting of electric motor driver above pump
- Thrust bearing: Ball bearing, single row, grease lubricated, bearing housing incorporated in discharge head assembly
- Radial bearing: Bottom bearing fitted in bottom / first stage bowl assembly, Bowl interstage bearings fitted between stage impellers, Shaft bearings fitted along column line shaft
- Suction strainer: Standard basket type fitted
- Coupling / Guard: Standard type fitted
Material of construction:
- Casing / Bowl: Cast iron to Australian Standards 1830 - Gr. T220
- Impeller: Cast stainless steel to A.S. 2074 - Gr. H6B
- Pump head shaft: Stainless steel to A.S. 2837 - Gr. 316 or equal
- Column lineshaft: Stainless steel to A.S. 2837 - Gr. 316 or equal
- Case wear ring: Cast iron to A.S. 1830
- Discharge column: Fabricated steel with epoxy coating
- Discharge bend: Fabricated steel with epoxy coating
