Thompson Kelly & Lewis, 3-Stage vertical turbine pumps lineshaft unit, each unit to be supplied complete with the following pump accessories fitted as a unit: - Suction strainer, basket in stainless steel. - Discharge column, total length from floor mounting plate to suction end approx. 6.0 m, the column section shall be built in 1.5 m standard length, Column joints shall be made flanged to A.S. table E standards. - Pump discharge head assembly incorporating discharge bend with flange connection. - Mounting plate built integral with discharge head assembly - Stuffing box fitted with packed gland standard sealing arrangement. - Motor stool, integral with pump discharge head to suit direct overhead mounting support for electric motor. - Ball bearings, radial and thrust type, grease lubricated - Rubber bush and pin type flexible coupling, to suit direct coupled arrangement between pump and electric motor driver. - Aluminum non-sparking coupling guard. Material of construction for the pump shall be as follows: Casing/bowl: Austenitic Cast iron, Impeller: Cast St.St., Shaft: Stainless steel, Column lineshaft: Stainless steel, Discharge Column: Fabricated steel with epoxy coating, Discharge bend: fabricated steel with epoxy coating, Case wear ring: Austenitic cast iron.
