Revenues of the Petroleum Projects and Technical Consultations Co. (Petrojet) upped by 12 percent during the full-year 2018, recording EGP 26.5 billion, compared to 2017.
This was announced at the company’s general assembly meeting, under Petroleum Minister Tareq el Mulla, to endorse the performance report for 2018. In a statement, Mulla stressed the fundamental role played by petroleum companies in implementing petroleum projects and shoring up the country's economy. Speaking at the meeting, Petrojet Chairman Walid Lotfi said that his company managed to achieve a number of distinguished projects in 2018. He cited the development project of the Middle East Oil Refinery (MIDOR)'s lab, the construction of a dry cast plant inside El Adabiya port in Suez, the Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel II in Suez, the Nooros gas line (Nidoco southwest-3) and other important projects. As for the company's projects outside Egypt, Lotfi cited Siba Central Processing Facilities (CPF) in Iraq, and the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of a 220-Km gas pipeline from Saih Nihayda to Duqm Economic Zone in Oman.
