Investments of world companies in oil and natural gas prospection and developing old fields and wells exceeded $ 8 billion in Egypt, said Hani Dahi the Chief Executive of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) on Saturday 25/2/2012.
German, Italian, French, Russian, U.S., Dutch and Malaysian companies cooperate with petroleum sector to boost international investments in the fields of oil and natural gas manufacturing, increasing oil and natural gas reserves and stabilizing daily output rates, added Dahi.
Dahi further pointed out that an international tender was floated by (EGPC) for oil prospection in the new areas of Suez Gulf, western desert, Sinai and Mediterranean Sea.
